The tale of Mr. Tall (and other stories)

So. As you may have noticed, it has been a while since I have posted. So that is awkward. But here is a post. LOVE IT.

Things that have happened since my last post, so that we can all be on the same page of my life.
~I AM A SENIOR. THIS IS CRAZY AND IT MAKES ME WANT TO VOMIT.
~I had the chance to compete in the Shakespeare festival, so that was cool. What was cooler was that I WON FIRST PLACE. That was grand.
~Also, my boss' bosses want to make me an AM. I can't until I am eighteen, but I am still excited.
~I work all the freaking time, so now I never get to just hang out. EVER. That is okay though, cuz now I am good chummies with Mr. Tall.

Speaking of Mr. Tall, now is the time for his tale. He is a grand, grand man. Most people that I work with think he is kind of quiet, but that is only because he doesn't really like them. That is one reason why we are chums. We both don't like people. Another thing is he listens to me rant and ramble. Half of the time I don't think he is actually listening to me. But then SURPRISE. He totally is. It is nice because I don't have anyone else to rant to. It is very stress reducing.  Anyway. So the other day at work, we were being a little bit meaner to each other than usual. I said something (I can't even remember what now) and then I went to grab something out of the walk in fridge we have. I came out, only to be greeted by pizza dough to the throat. In all honesty, it felt like someone had punched me in the throat. I might have raged a little bit, and didn't talk to him for the rest of the night. And now things seem different between us. He sort of acts like he might hate me, and I don't know why. When I ask him why, he says it is all fine, but it really doesn't seem like it is. It is probably all in me head. I hope so, at least, because he really is one of my best friends and I would probably cry if I lost that.

And moving on. In other news, we have started rehearsal for ALICE IN WONDERLAND. I am only a card in it, but I am having so much fun with it. I love the fact that we are doing a child show for my senior year. It is a nice way for me to end, I think. The good old MANdy is the Cheshire Cat, which is super grand. However, whenever he says "Alice", he does a voice like he wants to rape her. It is awkward for everyone. But it is funny.

That is really all that has been happening as of late. Nothing super exciting.

Love always,
Holly.

Some days....

Some days life is good. This is one of those days, I think.

So, today was actually just MEH, really, until about third period. We got the white boards again in latin today, so here is a NEW BEAUTIFUL PICTURE:

yup.  It happened.

Also, during lunch I wanted a candy bar so me and MANdy went to the vending machine.  Sticking out of said vending machine were two dollars, and a note that said:

"Random Act of Kindness.  Have a candy bar. HAPPY FRIDAY!"

It made me SUPER HAPPY!  Honestly, it sort of confused me at first.    I was just like, "Oh... look. Money..."   And MANdy was all "BUY ME SOME CANDY!" So I said "OK."

Moving on.  In last period today, me and my teacher had a good discussion about men. I like her a lot.

THE END. I am done for now.

A year in review...

So... it is already the end of the year. Awkward...  So, without any further ado, I shall be giving you a summary of my actually life this year, and the things that may have happened in it.

SoOzIn, MANdy, 'n' Me
Mama, Me, 'n' MANdy
The first thing of import that happened last year was UTA! For those of you unaware, this stands for Utah Theater Association NOT Utah Transit Authority.  Basically, it is when high school actors all get together and go to class and workshops and other various things.  MANdy, Mama, SoOzIn and I were pretty close on this trip.

Next that deserves, you know, being in my blog, because it is all big and important or something, is the REGIONAL DRAMA MEET.  This is a drama competition.  Yes, they DO actually exist.  Funny, huh?  WE DRAMA KIDS ARE JUST AS HARDCORE AS STUPID SPORTS FOLKS!! Anyway, there are lots of different categories that you can compete in, including things like humorous monologues,  old... timey  monologues (I can't actually remember what this is called... awkward) or like, Modern-day scenes and stuff to that effect.  There are rounds and judges... blah blah blah... I didn't actually compete, but I went and watched the rounds and was supportive and what not.
Drama Kids at their finest

Alright. Up next is THE FESTIVAL OF COLORS.  I went to this BEAUTIFUL thing with Trik, Crack, Prime, and Bobo.  It was good stuff not only because it was the Festival of Colors which I would imagine would always be fun, but also because we all wore various helmets/costumes.  Bobo wore the Darth Vadar Helmet and an AF cape that he made.  Trik was dressed as Link from Legend of Zelda, with THE BEST FLOPPY GREEN HAT I HAVE EVER SEEN.  Prime had the Optimus Prime head. Yup. Anyway, Crack had the Bumblebee Helmet on, and I had a generic clone helmet.  It was super fun, and EVERYONE AND THEIR DOG wanted their pictures with us.  It was slightly ridiculous.  It was super fun. I love the men of whom I went with. A LOT.

Nextly, is the END OF THE YEAR BANQUET.  Yes I know there is an actually other blog post, but this was a REALLY important point in my year!  There was MUCH weeping involved.  That is basically all I am going to say about it.
I love them!
Also, my favorite BATMAN took me to Lagoon for the first time in my life!  Holy Poo, I love this woman.  She made me go on every single ride that I said I was too scared to go on.  And yes.  Every ride that she made me go on I had buttloads of fun, but as they would start up I would be screaming "I HATE YOU I HATE I HATE YOU!!"  :D One of the funnest days in my whole life.
Me 'n' Batman after a LONG day of FUNSIES!
Uh... I am kind of done writing now I think, though I only got to June... darn. So... Here are pictures for events and things I didn't mention!

'Tis the season to be happy!

Hullo, my neglected blog. It's been a while...

Since last report, it has been THANKSGIVING BREAK. This is a fabulous thing that we have where we don't have school and we get to eat as much as our heart desires.  It is one of the most wonderful things EVER.

In other news, my dear Mother got a lap top from my fabulous aunty, and... yeah. I'm like the only person who uses it at this point, and it makes me rather happy.  'Tis very very HAPPY. Yup.

Also, just thought you all should know, I'm in my first period class right now.  Fun fun.  Anyway, the reason I'm telling you this is because I have a presentation that I have to do next period for DRAMA. I love that class, but my group has know clue what is happening.  MANdy and I are in charge of the power point, and they told us not to worry about the rest... Hopefully it will turn out good.  But I am kind of REALLY excited due to the fact that our subject is Stanislovski (and I know I didn't spell that right. Deal with it.) He is Russian, so we get to wear RUSSIAN HATS!!! Like, the amazing furry kind.  The one I get to wear has a tail, and it's kind of the same color as my hair.  It is rather enjoyable.

In other other news, I have decided that men just suck in general.  Yeah.

AND:  The new Legend of Zelda game, aka SKYWARD SWORD, is SUPER AMAZING AND I'M FREAKING IN LOVE WITH IT.  It is rather fun, and super beautiful... Man I wish I had a Wii.  And you get to hunt down birds.  It is SUPER FUN.  Also, I am replaying through Kingdom Hearts 2.  I love that game SO MUCH.  I'm doing it on the hard mode, yet I got to the end at a much lower level then when I got to the end on normal mode.  And yes I do actually care about that stuff.  I am a GIANT nerd, I know. But I am okay with that.   I JUST LOVE VIDEO GAMES.

ALSO: In 18 days, tis CHRISTMAS BREAK!  And in 23 days, tis MY BIRTHDAY! and in 27 days, tis CHRISTMAS! Now that you have been updated on the... uh... dates, I think I'm going to wrap this up.

I love you all, my 5 stalkers that actually read my blog. Even if you don't... yeah. done.

Books, Banquets, and good old SUMMER VACATION!!

Greetings all! So.... here are some things that may have happened...

About a week ago, my dear best friend Batman got the 5th Skulduggery Pleasant book, and being the amazing soul that she is, she let me borrow it.  IT IS AMAZING!! I'm not going to give anything away, for those of you who may want to read these books in the future. (For those of you who weren't planning on it, I highly suggest this series, due to the fact that it is my all time favorite book series. EVER.)  So yes. It was amazing, and if you want to know a good book, please read this one. And... moving on.

So it was on Friday (the 27 of May) when I got this book.  On this day, I also got to go dress shopping. For those of you who didn't know, shopping is not one of my favorite pass times. So I decided to go shopping with Batman, because I had not seen this amazing woman in ages. I also called my dear Superman, but she didn't answer.  Batman and I ended up going to the good old D.I. because this is where you can find some kind of amazing things for super cheap. We ended up getting this really pretty blue dress, and a black shawl to go with it.  While we were shopping, Superman called, and so when we finished with the shopping, we went over to her house.  This was rather enjoyable, due to the fact that I stole her phone, and started texting one of her man friends that I had never actually met.  I think he was probably getting very frustrated with me, because I kept on making things difficult, and dragging the conversation around in circles.  It was most fun.

Anyway, the whole reason that I needed to go dress shopping was for the DRAMA BANQUET.  This is a magical thing that the drama department at my high school puts on every year.  We go to the sky room at a nearby university, and eat and do... drama kid things.  We did little skits, and we got awards and things, but the real highlight of the evening was after the actual program was done.  It was our chance to say goodbye to the seniors.  My Mama is a senior, and so me, her, and MANdy had a group hug in which we all balled. It was the first time I had ever seen MANdy cry.  It was good, though, because I know she is going to have a good life.

And now... It is summer vacation. This is SO GOOD!! I love summer. Though, it's only the second official day of vacation and I'm already bored. This summer will be GREAT.... yes. THE END.

Physical Education and Taco Sauce

Firstly, may I just say that I HATE A-days.  I mean, I have nothing against them as a...day, species, thing, but my classes on A-days are the worst.
To start things off, I have mythology.  I would be fine with this class, because I really like the topic and I enjoy the other kids in that class with me, but the teacher makes me want to puncture my own eardrums! I haven't actually learned anything about mythology.  She is very dull, and every other sentence she has the need to say "Do you follow me people?"  I just... want to punch her face in.  Also, if you don't look at her for a split second, she freaks out about how you're not paying attention, and how she hates students today because they only take her classes for the grade.  It's rediculous.
Second period I have physics.  This, suprisingly, isn't that bad, and honestly, it is my favorite class on A-days.  My teacher is a little crazy, but she's very chill and she puts Legend of Zelda questions on the test.  The subject is really interesting too, and the people are good fun.
I then have financial lit, which is... ok, I guess.  The teacher of this class is also very chill, he lets you do things like sleep in class and whatnot.  One of my close friends is in this class, and it's an easy A, so I'm fine with it, I guess.
Last period, though. I HATE IT.  It is called "Fitness for Life."  They call it this so that you don't think that it is an actual PE class where they make you run all the time, but that is really what it is.  Our teacher is a man, whose first name is Lynn.  No offence to anyone really intended, but honestly, that is kind of a girly name.  MANdy refers to our teacher as a woman (never to his face, of course), and it is wildly entertaining.  The other day, we decided that Lynn is currently suffering from "womb rage," our codename for menopause.  It was very entertaining.  Anyway, moving on.  Today, we had a written test. IN PE. That doesn't even make sense, now does it? Well, apparently the state seems to think that it does. On the gym floor, next to where MANdy and I were sitting to take the test, there was a packet of "Taco Sauce."  We then discussed the fun effects of jumping on small, sealed packets such as the Taco sauce.  It was rather enjoyable.

Anyway, that was my day today.  I only have 7 more days of school left.  I still am not quite sure how I feel about this... but I'll get over it.  That's about it.

Toodles!!
